Ambassador, JICA President review Pakistan–Japan development cooperation

Islamabad, July 23: Ambassador of Pakistan to Japan, Abdul Hameed, met with Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) President Dr. Akihiko Tanaka at the agency’s headquarters to discuss ways to further strengthen bilateral development cooperation. During the meeting, both sides reaffirmed the longstanding Pakistan–Japan partnership and reviewed progress in ongoing collaborative initiatives. They explored new opportunities for cooperation in key sectors, including infrastructure development, climate resilience, human resource development, digital transformation, and sustainable economic growth. The discussions also focused on promoting innovative development projects aimed at enhancing economic prosperity, strengthening institutional capacity, and expanding mutually beneficial cooperation between Pakistan and Japan
