Ambassador Khalil Hashmi Lauds NLC’s Role in Strengthening Pakistan-China Trade Connectivity

Islamabad, July 5: Pakistan’s Ambassador to China, Khalil Hashmi, has commended the role of the National Logistics Corporation (NLC) in promoting bilateral trade and enhancing connectivity between Pakistan and China.

During a visit to NLC’s logistics centre in Kashgar, Ambassador Hashmi received a comprehensive briefing on the corporation’s cross-border logistics operations and state-of-the-art facilities.

The ambassador described NLC’s contribution to Pakistan-China trade as “commendable,” noting that the logistics facilities established by the corporation in Kashgar and Tashkurgan hold strategic importance for strengthening bilateral commerce and regional connectivity.

According to the briefing, NLC’s logistics centres are facilitating the smooth and uninterrupted movement of goods not only to China but also to Central Asian countries, including Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan, while also providing onward access to international markets.

Modern transport fleets and integrated logistics services operated by NLC are helping deepen economic ties between Pakistan and China and are opening new avenues for regional trade and connectivity, reinforcing the strategic partnership between the two countries.
