Pakistan’s Participation in Khamenei Ceremony Reflects Enduring Friendship, Says Iranian Envoy

Islamabad, July 6: Iran’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Dr. Reza Amiri Moghadam, has said that the participation of a high-level Pakistani delegation in the ceremony held in Tehran to pay homage to Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, reflects the enduring friendship, mutual respect and deep fraternal ties between the two neighboring countries.

In a post on X, the Iranian envoy expressed his profound gratitude to Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Syed Asim Munir, Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, federal ministers and other senior officials for attending the historic occasion and expressing solidarity with the government and people of Iran.

Ambassador Moghadam also acknowledged the presence of prominent religious scholars, political leaders and cultural figures from Pakistan, describing their participation as a meaningful gesture of support and friendship.
