Ishaq Dar Receives Newly Appointed German Ambassador, Stresses Stronger Bilateral Ties

ISLAMABAD – Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Thursday received H.E. Ina Lepel, the newly appointed Ambassador of Germany to Pakistan.

Welcoming the envoy, Senator Dar underscored the importance of further strengthening bilateral relations between Pakistan and Germany across multiple sectors, including political dialogue, trade and investment, climate action, skilled labour mobility, defence and education.

He expressed confidence that Ambassador Lepel’s tenure in Islamabad would contribute to advancing cooperation and building upon the longstanding partnership between the two countries.

The Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister also conveyed his best wishes to the German Ambassador for a successful assignment in Pakistan.
