
TİKA Extends Emergency Relief Operations in Punjab, Targeting 50,000 Beneficiaries
ISLAMABAD, Sept 28 — The Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) – Pakistan Programme Office has expanded its emergency relief efforts in flood-affected districts of Punjab, aiming to support 50,000 people with essential assistance.
According to TİKA, the ongoing relief operations include the distribution of hot meals and hygiene kits in Kasur, Jhang, Bahawalnagar, and Muzaffargarh. In addition, mobile health camps have been set up in Wazirabad, Kasur, and Multan, offering free medical checkups and medicines to affected families.
The initiative underscores Türkiye’s continued solidarity with Pakistan in times of crisis, ensuring urgent food, health, and hygiene support reaches vulnerable communities.
