Russian Ambassador Attends Certificate Ceremony at AIOU for Russian Language Course Graduates

ISLAMABAD: Russian Ambassador to Pakistan, Albert Khorev, attended a certificate distribution ceremony at Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) marking the completion of a three-month Russian language course.

During the event, students showcased their language proficiency by reciting excerpts from Alexander Pushkin’s classic poem “Ruslan and Lyudmila” in Russian, earning appreciation from the audience and guests.

Ambassador Khorev commended the students’ efforts and lauded the initiative for promoting Russian language and culture in Pakistan. He expressed gratitude to AIOU, the Russian Ministry of Education, and Professor Ekaterina Andriets for making the course possible, emphasizing that such programs strengthen educational and cultural ties between the two countries.
