PRCS Gilgit-Baltistan Team Reaches Out to Flood-Affected Families in Ghizer

GILGIT, October 7, 2025 – A team from the Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) Gilgit-Baltistan Branch, accompanied by the Member Branch Committee District Ghizer, visited Village Khalti in District Ghizer, one of the areas most severely affected by recent calamities that resulted in significant loss of life.

The visit aimed to assess on-ground damage and extend immediate humanitarian relief to the affected communities. During the visit, the PRCS team distributed essential food packages among families to provide timely assistance and ease their hardship.

The PRCS Gilgit-Baltistan Branch reaffirmed its commitment to stand with the affected families during this difficult time and pledged to continue its relief and rehabilitation efforts across the region.
