Canada’s New High Commissioner Presents Credentials to President Zardari

Canada’s newly appointed High Commissioner to Pakistan, H.E. Tarik Ali Khan, presented his credentials to President Asif Ali Zardari in Islamabad.

During the ceremony, High Commissioner Khan reaffirmed Canada’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations with Pakistan, emphasizing enhanced trade, investment, and economic cooperation. He also underscored the importance of people-to-people ties in promoting mutual understanding and long-term partnership between the two nations.

President Zardari welcomed the new envoy and expressed hope that Pakistan–Canada relations would continue to expand across various sectors, particularly education, climate resilience, and sustainable development.
