Ambassador-Designate Abdul Hameed Hosts Farewell for JDS Scholars in Tokyo

Tokyo — Pakistan’s Ambassador-Designate to Japan, Abdul Hameed, hosted a farewell reception for the scholars of the Japan Development Scholarship (JDS) program at the Embassy of Pakistan in Tokyo.

Congratulating the students on their academic achievements at leading Japanese universities, Ambassador Hameed encouraged them to apply their acquired knowledge and skills for Pakistan’s socio-economic development. He also urged them to serve as a bridge of friendship between Pakistan and Japan.

The Ambassador extended his best wishes for their future careers, expressing confidence that the scholars would play a constructive role in strengthening bilateral ties.

He also conveyed gratitude to the Government of Japan and the Japan International Cooperation Center (JICE) for their continued support in empowering Pakistan’s youth through higher education opportunities.
